The work I have been doing at the academy is a series of process based investigations that focus on decoding, revealing and reconstructing the contemporary city. The projects are rooted in questions about meaning and the phenomenal, and based on themes of movement, myth and ritual infrastructure. The investigations engage various modes of representation and test the limits of a variety of mediums and processes.

Ross B. Altheimer (born in Waukesha, Wisconsin) is a Landscape Architect and Adjunct Professor of Landscape Architecture, who currently lives and practices in Minneapolis, MN. His work has won awards and recognition from ASLA National, ASLA Minnesota, GSA Design Awards and the Graham Foundation.
